MEMORIAL MEAL
We celebrate the Memorial Meal on the 1st Wednesday of each month during Covenant Circles and will do so this Wednesday, August 6th at 10am & 7pm. If you are unable to join us on Wednesday, look for an email that day with a reservation link for the Alternate Memorial Meal Celebration. If you are planning to attend the Alternate Celebration, be sure to RSVP by Friday at 3pm. The Alternate Memorial Meal will be dependent upon responses. We’ll see you on Wednesday.
BACK TO SCHOOL
On next Sunday, August 10th, all children, youth, and adults starting or returning to school are invited to receive a blessing from Pastor Rick during Sunday service. If you or your child would like to participate, please arrive for service no later than 10:00. Also, be ready to follow the direction of the Ushers, Greeters and/or Children’s Ministry Teachers & God Squad Mentors when it is time to prepare for the ceremony. Parents, please be ready to assist your children with following those directions. If you have any questions, you may call the office at 510.638.7870.
GOD SQUAD
If you are 14 – 20, join God Squad, our ministry to Berith youth, as we continue discussing “Managing My Emotions”. We will meet next Sunday, August 10th, following service. Invite your friends and we’ll see you there.
DISCOVERING BERITH MEMBERSHIP
If you would like to become a member of Berith or just learn more about who we are and what we’re all about, join us for our Discovering Berith Membership Class! The class will be held in two sessions, Friday, August 15th from 7:00 to 9:30 pm and Saturday, August 16th from 10:30am to 5:30pm. If you’d like to become a member, you must attend both sessions to complete the class. However, attendance is not an obligation to join. If you’d like to attend, sign up @info, or email us at info@berithcf.org by 3pm today.
TEXT MESSAGING CHANGES
Berith has moved to a new text messaging platform. Text messages are now being sent from 510-602-2816. Take a note of this new number and add it to your known contacts so you don’t unintentionally opt out of messages from Berith. If you have been receiving text messages from Berith, your number should have been imported into the new system. If you haven’t received texts from the new number, please call the office or email us to let us know. If you would like to sign up to receive text messages, sign up on the authorization sheet located @info or send an email request to info@berithcf.org. SUMMER BBQ DEBRIEF
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our Summer BBQ a success. We had a great time! As a reminder, if you assisted with the barbecue in any way, there is an in person debrief today following service here in the Main Meeting Space.
